    (B) Written Work - Requirements:

    1. Written submissions must be original, not previously published, and 2,000 words or less.
    2. Lengthier pieces (closer to the limit) are less likely to be considered due to limited space.

    6. The Tuscarora Review is looking for literary work only. Academic essays will not be considered.
    7. The editorial board reserves the right to edit pieces for grammar and at times to improve creative impact. That being said, edits will never substantially change work.
    8. Please read a few of our back issues, available on campus and online, to get a sense of what we’ve published before.

    (C) Visual Artwork - Requirements:

    1. Submitted artwork must be labelled with the title of the piece and the artist's last name.
    2. As long as the piece does not include video or audio features, the piece is eligible for submission.
    3. Images must be sized at 300 PPI or higher, please ensure the size meets our standards.
    4. Art and photography in fall and spring student art shows are automatically considered for publication and awards.
