Student Emergency Assistance

Student Emergency Assistance is designed to provide temporary, short-term assistance to students in an emergency. It is a stop-gap in a crisis and is not intended to be a scholarship, a secondary form of college funding or provide ongoing relief for recurring expenses. All requests for support will be responded to within 24 hours. For consideration, students shall:

Be currently enrolled and attending Frederick Community College (FCC) as a regular student in a degree or certificate program.
Demonstrate, with documentation (if applicable) financial hardship due to an emergency, or unanticipated and compelling circumstances that jeopardize the student’s ability to successfully continue in school.
Consider and utilize other sources of funding as appropriate, such as recommended student loans.
