  • Student Emergency Assistance is designed to provide temporary, short-term assistance to students in an emergency. It is a stop-gap in a crisis and is not intended to be a scholarship, a secondary form of college funding or provide ongoing relief for recurring expenses. All requests for support will be responded to within 24 hours. For consideration, students shall:

    • Be currently enrolled and attending Frederick Community College (FCC) as a regular student in a degree or certificate program.
    • Demonstrate, with documentation (if applicable) financial hardship due to an emergency, or unanticipated and compelling circumstances that jeopardize the student’s ability to successfully continue in school.
    • Consider and utilize other sources of funding as appropriate, such as recommended student loans.
