Depart from Iceland and see the musk ox that await there, then onward to arctic Canada and sail for two weeks to get to Nome Alaska. This is definitely a trip of a lifetime: there are icebergs and birds and cultural meetings with the native Inuit peoples.

    These two states are famous for their vast, rugged dessert landscapes, unique geological formations and rich cultural histories.
