    Students are invited to join our Youth Orchestra, Middle School Jazz Ensemble, or Middle School Flute Choir. A short video of students playing their instrument can be included with this interest form, not as an audition, but to ensure the most appropriate placement in an ensemble. (Something they're working on in lessons or a school ensemble is great.) Students who submit a video may qualify for a scholarship, depending on availability of funds.

  • Short Student Video (required)

    Please upload a short performance video of the student. This allows us to make sure the student is in the class where they’re most likely to thrive and helps the instructor prepare repertoire and lessons for the semester. Make sure the students hands and face are visible in the video.

    If possible, the video should include:

    • A scale (as many octaves as the student feels comfortable)
    • 1–2 solos or etudes (What the student is working on in their school ensemble is good if they’re not working on a solo or etude)
